Indonesian Corn Fritter (Bakwan Jagung)

Ingredients:
2 cups corn (frozen or fresh)
1. 1/3 cup flour
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder (or more for heat)
2 shallots diced or 1 onion finely minced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp turmeric
¼ cup chopped cilantro, extra for garnish
½ water, more as needed.

1. Whisk eggs in a large bowl, add all ingredients except flour and water.
2. Fold in flour to evenly coat mixture.
3. Add in water, adjust until you get a thick batter
4. Fry in shallow oil, 3 minutes per side.
5. Garnish with extra cilantro.
